Clean Agent Suppression

Our systems are designed to fit into and protect valuable equipment from fire with the use of highly efficient clean agents.

Most of our fire suppression systems utilize clean agents. They are eco-friendly and water-less, working by removing the heat energy from the fire through supercooling the environment. It does not rob the oxygen, reducing the risk to surrounding occupants. These clean agents require no clean-up and do not leave a toxic or destructive residue. These systems are generally used for highly sensitive or high-value spaces where water is not a preferred means of fire control.

Our direct and indirect firetrace micro fire suppression systems utilize a simple pressurized detection tubing mechanism that detects fire at its inception without the need for elaborate electrical equipment and alarm systems. Our systems are designed to fit into and protect valuable equipment from fire with the use of highly efficient clean agents. Manufactured and built with quality material ensuring that the system of choice will last for years.

The key to this automatic fire suppression system is the detection tubing. The tubing is designed to burst and form a deployment nozzle when an open flame comes into contact with the tubing. These systems can stand alone without any power source to operate. They can also be removed and reused with minor modifications.

Bullet point facts:

  • Quickly and effectively extinguish fire automatically

  • The fire system can also be operated manually

  • Run equipment un-manned 24/7 knowing it will be protected

  • Different fire extinguishing agents are available

    • Fm-200 / hfc-227, novec 1230, co2, dry chemical, etc.

    • Clean agents like fm-200 / hfc-227 & novec 1230 act as super coolants, non-oxygen robbing safer alternative for occupants. They also leave no residue for easy, near non-existent clean up. Safe on electronics.

  • Targeted suppression that attacks the fire where it starts

  • Detecting the fire at its source interrupts the fire at its earliest stages.

  • More environmentally friendly due to its ability to use smaller equipment and less total suppressant

  • Enhanced people's safety.

  • Does not require electrical sources, battery backups, or control panels – but can be integrated into fuel or power supply to shut down in the event of a fire.

  • High system reliability due to fewer components, lack of wiring and power sources, and simple operating principles

  • Simple to maintain with minimal training

DIRECT VS INDIRECT

The direct suppression approach allows the agent to be expelled through the burst hole created by the contact of open flame to the detection tubing, concentrating the entire agent into one area. This method is very effective in tight and inaccessible spaces.

The indirect suppression approach directs the agent through a pre-selected route and deploys the agent. This completely floods the desired environment through the strategically located nozzles. This method is most effective in controlling and suppressing fires in enclosed areas.
